The Vinoy Golf Club This par-72 course with Bermuda grass greens is known to be challenging to golfers of all levels. It’s also a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, which means the area is not only a wildlife refuge, but it also features a lush landscape including more than 12 different varieties of palm trees.
Mangrove Bay The links at this par-72 municipal course feature USGA modified Platinum Paspalum greens. Players describe this course as one with “wide fairways, no hidden trouble, and smooth, consistent greens.”
Cypress Links Take the whole family to enjoy a round of golf at Cypress Links. This municipal course is just 9 holes, so you’ll experience lower fees and shorter playing times. 2. The Beautiful Weather
It’s always warm in St. Pete. Even in the height of winter, when temperatures around the nation plummet to ridiculous lows, it’s a pleasant 72 degrees in the Tampa Bay area. Who’d want to be outside temperatures in the teens? Fortunately, you don’t need to worry about that, because the St. Petersburg area has tons of golf courses awaiting your arrival — even in February!
