The Neptune Grill’s Delicious Food

The Neptune Grill’s food does not disappoint!  Their extensive menu offers something for everyone in your family, whether they’re a landlubber or a seafood aficionado.  Diners usually rave about the Grill’s fish tacos, along with the top-notch Greek Burger with kalamata olives and feta cheese.  They also have a wide variety of appetizers (calamari, buffalo chicken tenders, Maryland crab cakes, etc.)  If you’re interested in learning more about their offerings, you can visit their menu: Neptune Grill Menu

Enjoy the Fresh Air

The Neptune Grill offers outdoor seating so you can full enjoy those warm Old Florida afternoons and evenings.  As an added bonus, the porch actually overlooks the Boca Ciega Bay.  Sit back and relax with a great meal, cold beverage, and a beautiful view of the water!  It’s a great combination.

Bring Your Pooch

We’re going to add one more bonus to our previous list: sit back and relax with a great meal, cold beverage, beautiful view of the water, and your pup by your side.

That’s right.  The Neptune Grill has a dog-friendly patio, meaning you can bring your furry child with you.  The Grill simply asks you to prevent them touching food service items (utensils, plates, napkins, etc.), keep them off the furniture, and keep them on-leash at all times.  You can learn more on the Grill’s Dog Dining page.

Enjoy Live Music

The Neptune Grill frequently offers live music on their outdoor patio.  Enjoy great music and a cold drink on a warm evening.  You can view their live music schedule on their Facebook page.

After a delicious meal, why not head out for a drink at one of St. Pete’s favorite breweries?  3 Daughters Brewery has a rather unique backstory: the founders, Mike and Ty Weaver, cooked in a local restaurant.  One day, they decided to beer-batter some fish with their own home-brewed beer.  The dish ended up a huge success, and people loved the beers they used in creating it.  They decided to ride the wave of success and open a brewery.

You’ll find their beers all over St. Pete (including at our very own restaurant, Isabelle’s). Try one of their many great offerings, such as the Beach Blonde Ale, the Bimini Twist IPA, the Stern Line Stout, the Rod Bender Red Ale, and more.  At the brewery, you can find more than a dozen beers on tap, including hefeweizens, porters, blondes, and a Double IPA.

The brewery also hosts a ton of fun events.  On Friday and Saturday nights, stop by and enjoy live music.  If all that dancing gets you hungry, you can check out one (or several) of the on-site food trucks.

And after a day of delicious food and craft beer, head back to your room at the Historic Peninsula Inn.  The inn offers a variety of accommodations suitable for all types of travelers, from the solo business traveler, to the couple on a romantic getaway, to the family of four adventuring around Old Florida.
