Gulfport is doing it again this year! The 2nd annual Gulfport Chef’s Table Charity Event will take place on November 6th! This very popular, outdoor, fine dining experience takes place in the middle of Beach Boulevard. Last year’s event was so much fun and such a success Isabelle’s Restaurant had to participate again this year!
No one expected the tickets to sell out so quickly! Within a week of announcing that tickets were available, almost every restaurant had sold out. The staff of Isabelle’s were humbled by our guests and their loyalty to our restaurant! This will clearly be a very popular annual event!
This year, the event is taking place from 6 pm to 10 pm on November 6th with a potential rain date on the November 13th.
The charity this year is Gulfport Elementary School. The Chef’s table is sponsored by Gulfport Neighbors Non-profit organization and strongly supported by the Gulfport Merchant’s Association. The event has quickly become a highlight Gulfport’s thriving food scene but it also provides funding to one of Gulfport’s charities. This year, we will feature the offerings from ten Gulfport Chefs at a long community table set up in the center of Beach Boulevard in Gulfport’s historic Waterfront District.
The participating restaurants have crafted unique four-course prix-fixe menus. The diners have chosen from 10 menus ranging in price from $40 to $85 per person, plus tax. The prices include wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.
The participating restaurants are:
- Fish Bar and Grille
- Isabelle’s Restaurant at the Peninsula Inn
- Island Flavors and Things
- Manatees on the Bay
- Mangia Gourmet
- Neptune Grill
- Pia’s Trattoria
- Smokin’ J’s BBQ
The tables will be assembled in one long row but each restaurant is responsible for the décor of their individual section of seating. Each restaurant will serve between 24 – 56 guests depending on their menu complexity and staffing levels. We expect over 300 total guests at this year’s event!
