Great Bars Near Gulfport FL Beach Park
- O’Maddy’s – O’Maddy’s is fantastic — an amazing atmosphere, ocean views, and some delicious food made with fresh ingredients. Add in an extensive drink menu, live music, and karaoke nights, and you’ve got one of our favorite bars in Gulfport. It’s a great place to hang out on the outdoor patio and mingle with your new friends-to-be.
- Salty’s – Salty’s, like O’Maddy’s, is a bar with a huge outdoor patio. It, however, focuses on great drinks, big screen TVs, and lots of games. This is the place to be if you’re looking for video games, pool tables, dart boards, or cornhole. It, too, offers live music several nights per week, oceanfront views, and a fun crowd of people. As an added bonus, you can take your pup! This is especially relevant, as the Historic Peninsula Inn is also pet-friendly.
- Neptune’s focuses on fresh seafood and delicious Greek cuisine. It, too, has an outdoor patio overlooking the water, and they’re famous for their delicious, reasonably-priced drinks. If you’re looking for great food with less of a social vibe, this is a great place to sit, eat, and drink on the water!
So stop by before or after your trip to the beach and enjoy an ice cold drink on a warm, sunny Florida day.
If you’re the more adventurous type, head over to the Boardwalk in St. Petersburg for some of their fun activities. You could grab a paddleboard and paddle out amongst the dolphins. Fishers love the area; they have the choice of on-shore fishing or deep-sea fishing (half day or full day). Finally, if you’re brave enough, you could head up into the wild blue yonder for a little parasailing.
As you can see, our area is teeming with delicious food, fantastic bars, and fun outdoor adventures!
And after you’ve had your fun for the day, return to your beautiful suite at the Historic Peninsula Inn. The inn offers a variety of suites to meet the needs of all kinds of travelers, from the businessperson on a week-long business trip, to the family on a romantic getaway, to the family of four touring old Florida.
